Second time at Legoland, now in Germany (first in DK) and the experience here was as good as the first! We were lucky timing wise to hit it before the school holidays and on a week day so parking was fast and the overall experience was that the lines were shorter than expected/announced for the rides. Kids loved it of course. As a parent I also like that the food available is not only pizza and hot dogs, but there is actually also more healthy alternatives around! All in all we had good experience and recommend a visit.

With a 7 and 5-year old in tow, we came away tired and happy after two days at Legoland. The park is well laid out, clean, and service was friendly. The workers do an outstanding job putting up with the unrelenting line ups and stress of having to deal with so many people in their face. We went on a weekday (don't go on the weekend if you can avoid it) and spread it out over two days. Still we didn't see everything. We stayed at the Pirateninsel Hotel (so awesome) after taking the train from Innsbruck. Some of the lineups were 30+ minutes long for the more popular attractions such as the Hyundai Fahrshule, Die Dschungel X-pedition (log water ride), Ninjago ride, Hafen Rundefahrt, etc. My kids loved them all plus the Raupenritt, Tret O Mobil, Pyramiden Rally (be prepared for an arm workout), Lego Train Express, Fabrik tour, Flughaven, and so much more. My advice for what it's worth:
- Bring some fruit and veggies for the kids to eat while waiting in long line ups.
- Bring your own food because it's probably healthier. Most of the food at the park are fried, greasy, salty, sugary, and expensive. Fruit and veggies are scarce (I didn't find any for sale).
- Bring sunscreen, hat, wet wipes, and hand sanitizer.
- Wear comfortable shoes and bring an extra top in case you get wet
- Use the Legoland app to navigate the park.
- Go early and head to the back of the park where there are less line ups.
- Sign up for the Hyundai Fahrschule in the morning because there are limited spots. This attraction is for kids 7 and up. Bring 5 Euros. When your child is in the Fahrschule, you get to enjoy 45 kid-free minutes! Position yourself near the car wash to get your money shot of your kid driving through the car wash and getting sprayed.
- Decide on a spending limit or maximum number of toys your kids can buy before stepping into the numerous Lego stores. You may as well hand over your wallet if you don't.
- Decompress and soak in the Miniland (best time is after 6 pm when things start winding down).
- Your child will likely have a meltdown from the sensory overload. Pace yourself, take a break and let them get it out of their system.
- Spend time at the Lego Academie so the kids can build. Let the kids run loose at the Spielplatz so they can burn some energy.
- If you have a Lego VIP account, go to the web chat and ask if you can wrangle some VIP points for the money (I spent 300 Euros) you dumped at the Legoland store. The rules say you don't earn points at Legoland, but I got some extra (sympathy) points, if you ask nicely.
- Be present with your kids because this is such a memorable experience for them. Channel your inner kid and have a blast.

The park is magnificently laid out for both the adults and children.
The staff are very helpful.
There are many adventures and rides which are well organized and setup.
There are many play grounds for the children to roam about.
Some activities will make you wet but I guarantee that you will enjoy it.
Toilets are very clean.
Food stands and restaurants are available but they are quite expensive.
The miniland is beautifully set.
Photos are amazing there.
Log on to their website as there are many tips that will make your visit enjoyable.
Online booking will sace you both money and time as the que is long.
Some rides may take up to half an hour to reach so plan your visit wisely.
The souvenir shops are all over the place but I see that they can have more designs (other than the classical sets) to be sold.
Transportation are easy and drops you at the parks entrance.
