Dreaming anytime about living LEGO to its fullness? About stepping into a theme world of LEGO the big unforgettable way? Taste this accommodation park dedicated to (not only) LEGO fans and immerse yourselves into LEGO to breath it every step you take here in LEGOLAND Feriendorf. You see LEGO, you touch LEGO, you sleep LEGO. For kids its ultimate experience as well as for parents who can appreciate sense for detail and service to a customer. We have chosen Drachenburg Hotel, full-LEGO themed lodging facility, one of three LEGO castles. There are also a Pharao village and Pirate village. Apart accommodation, there is plenty of restaurants and children playgrounds, together with minigolf and bowling, all LEGO themed, and, of course, a souvenir shop. The castles' courtyard and castles themselves amaze you as you step in instantaneously (and remember to save some time to enjoy the view after a dark, you will most definitely not regret that!). If you like LEGO design of buildings, here they are, only in life-size, as well as dragons and knights and torches and fireplaces in a entering hall of a castle in which you really can feel like in a castle - yes, torches made of LEGO bricks light! Rooms are like chambers in a castle (wallpapers all over the place) even with doors looking like in LEGO castle you can built, but - again - life-size here. A bed, chairs, table - life-size LEGO experience! Bathroom is well equipped and here they really have thought of small children too with steps to reach a wash-basin. We have booked dinner (which is optional for extra cost and must be booked in advance for fixed timeslot, 18:00 and 20:00 hrs local) in a Pirate's taverne in Pirate village. It consists of starter degustation menu and main dish degustation menu (two options are available) with free soft-drinks. Well, for children it had its wow effect, for adults also, but differently - from parents point of view it provides you great experience being served by a pirate in a LEGO pirate tavern together with your children who would really like that, but from pure adult point of view, it is costly not that tasting menu when you have to count with children to be fed up early to leave you enough to kill the hunger sufficiently too (it is not that tasty and not that enough portion to cover 2 adults and 2 children, 8 and 10 year old). Dimensions away from that is breakfast, included in an accommodation, served in Main castle - there is a plenty of room for full families you could not feel confined, accompanied by some LEGO life-size funny characters, such as a drunk monk with a pint of beer. Variety of dishes served is just amazing and cappuccino is excellent (if read my review from Ferrara, Italy, it was 10/10 there, here it was 9/10 and here it was from a self-service coffee machine!), leaving you and your children (if not spoiled to the bone having been born with a silver spoon in their mouths) satisfied, the LEGO way. And children playground here - being a part of the restaurant - is one of the most excellent playground I have ever seen - it is as a special room, accessible only without shoes (awesome!) as there is a floor carpet, with LEGO bricks in a chest and some other child stuff to play with. What really counts is to book this accommodation after a day in LEGOLAND Themepark to sleep over and start another day in Themepark from here - you and most importantly your children will be fully and happily Legoed then. An ultimate LEGO accommodation experience here it is!

Great decoration, great playground, fantastic experience for kids. Breakfast was tasty and venue was great. Kids rooms have total black-out (no windows), which allows for long sleep in the morning. It is a bit far from the park though (10 minutes walk).

Arrived in extreme heat and picked ourselves a spot-bit disappointed that having booked in advance we hadn’t been allocated a pitch - all the shady ones/larger sites were taken! Camp site is basic but very commercial-all about eating out and spending more money! Toilet/showers were very clean and of high standard but not enough to cater for number of campers. Great facility was 2 free washing machines-although finding them available meant getting up v early!
Boys were disappointed at the play parks-there are many throughout the site but all quite small-we expected more. After 2 fabulous days in Legoland (a 10 min walk from site) we spent our final day bowling/playing crazy golf (all chargeable), and visited a superb outdoor lido nearby...it’s a real shame that the Legoland campsite doesn’t have a swimming facility for guests and is more about making money! Would we visit the site again? No probably not, but we did love the area so will be back to explore in the future

We spent 1 night at the Ritterburg hotel (which is one of the 3 castle-themed hotels). We particularly enjoyed the free play areas next to the Castle hotels (including the riding track next to the Königsburg hotel, where we had breakfast) and the one in front of the Pirate Island hotel.
Therefore, despite the park closing relatively early, there are plenty of opportunities for kids to play outside.
The room & bathroom are nicely decorated. There was a big box of legos in the room and coffee/tea + a small fridge.
Also, you could park the car right next to the hotel.
My only concern was that the Kids' space/beds are the ones closest to the door (so they might potentially walk out on you or get woken up by noise coming from the corridors).

We spent 2 nights at the Pirats Island hotel with family and friends: the place is perfect: quite new, extra-clean, very well designed for children, and what a great decoration! Very quiet rooms, well isolated one to the other. Brreakfast is ok, well adapted to families, and well organized. The perfect place to get out of the routine, have fun with your children, and forget a little about the external world!

This is a dream for all children. You won’t make a mistake when you choose castle, themed houses, tanks or pirate island! Each place is unique and very well and detailed! I wish I could a little girl again and come to stay here for couple days! The food is really great, don’t worry and taste each restaurant!👍
