For anyone complaining about the accommodation here, there is a clue in the title. Of course it’s not swanky, it’s a budget hotel!
I loved this place. Uber efficient, immensely clean (even the corridor smelled nice) and very quiet. The place is solid and sound proofed, so no banging doors in the night. The room, of course slightly without style, provided all that I needed. The room was similar to my sons uni halls, but bigger, with a moulded pod like shower and loo. All very clean. Codes unlock doors and get you back in after hours, so no faffing about with jumbo key rings. Window opens fully, tv good quality and reasonable choice but mostly French. Weird but effective towels and shower gel provided to enhance what was a surprisingly good powerful shower (you know that feeling when you first see some showers and your heart sinks) The only plug socket in the room was butted right up to the adjacent wall, so infuriatingly, couldn’t re charge my phone or iPad. However, the every helpful and pleasant receptionist sourced a plug and adapter from a massive box of assorted left items, to save my bacon and my onward journey.
Bed was comfy enough, but not luxurious (hey, what did I say about the title?) and sheets crisp and clean.
Breakfast was about 6 Euro, which was good value for buffet style croissants, cereals coffee etc (you are meant to pre book)
Honestly find it hard to fault this place especially if you’re looking to save a few pennies.

The room was incredibly basic. Much more like a hostel. The only positives are that the check in lady was lovely and very welcoming, the halls and rooms were clean and my hub liked his breakfast.
The lighting in the rooms was awful!! There was no kettle! The bed was not comfortable.
The following day after we checked out and were waiting for a car to take us to a family wedding my sister and I asked to use the bathroom inside. The lady was very abrupt and told us the hotel was closed before quickly slamming the door.
I would never stay here again!

Excellent value, clean, 'pod-style' chalet type accommodation. Secure, minimalist and ideal for overnight or weekend stop. Excellent value at £44 for double bed plus overhead bunk. Need a car. Parking available.

Standard as for ibis hotel - clean and good price. The localization was good - 10/15 min walk from the first historical monuments. To get to the seaside is longer but still ok. Easy reservation and no problem with late arrival. Parking not secured.
