“Beautiful rural location for a perfect week in sunny Kent.”
Reviewed 12 August 2015 for a stay in July 2015

This lovely little cottage is in an idyllic location in the village of Rodmersham, opposite a duck pond, a very handy pub a few yards away and a coffee shop (try the apple shortbread - yum) nearly next door.

The Cottage itself had everything you could ever need and a comprehensive information pack.
Monique was very helpful and nothing was too much trouble - even when on arrival we had a little trouble with the front door she very quickly came to the rescue (our fault just turning the key the wrong way!!)

The cottage is in a perfect situation for touring this beautiful county. Canterbury is an easy drive and the beaches of the Kent coast are very close by. We thoroughly enjoyed our week and to top it off the weather was extremely kind to us.

“Lovely holiday cottage on a nice location”
Reviewed 29 October 2013 for a stay in October 2013

We stayed a week with a family of four. Our daughters (12 and 9) were delighted from the moment we entered. They loved the cottage so much that they didn't want to leave.

Booking was very easy. Questions were answered immediately. On arrival we found a nice welcome pack with plenty of first essentials. Even milk, eggs and butter were provided. All necessities were available for a cosy and relaxing holiday. Environment friendly where possible.

Rodmersham Green is a nice village, rurally set, with easy access to Sittingbourne. From this location many attractions are in easy reach. London is approx. 1 1/4 hrs by train, directly to Victoria station.
Nice golf courses are nearby. Faversham and Sittingbourne are very good. There is a Pay and play nearby on the other side of the A2.
Brogdale farm is the place for your local food. They have an excellent display of matured meat, sausages and more.

The Fruiterers Arms is the village pub on the other side of the main road. It offers good food and has a very welcome atmosphere.

We can recommend The Old Post to all, especially to families. The perfect base for exploring Kent.

“Charming Cottage in Beautiful Surroundings”

We stayed here for 1 week in October. We found the Cottage easily and were delighted with it's location and the entire layout and furnishings of the cottage.

The location is excellent for exploring North Kent with easy access to major roads, local footpaths and cycle ways.

The Village pub is well run with friendly owners and staff. The local people were also very friendly and welcomed us into their company.

The owner dealt with our booking in a professional and friendly manner. The welcome pack was excellent and the fresh flowers in the sitting room a nice touch.

Our only downside was that the allocated parking space behind the cottage was a little awkward for a large car. We did however find alternative parking on the green only yards from the front door.

Overall we could not fault or visit and would highly recommend it to others.

“Perfect holiday cottage!”

We stayed here for two weeks when moving to The east Kent area and it was really a home away from home. Monique has paid great attention to detail, from fresh countryside flowers in the rooms to the welcome book telling you all about the local area. The cottage had all the facilities we needed and tries to be as green as possible. The village of Rodmersham Green is in an ideal setting surrounded by countryside and a friendly community. We definitely recommend the Old Post Cottage!
