Had a business lunch with 5 colleagues and it turned out to be a feast. We started with the hot and sour soup which was decent. Followed up by delicious crispy egg rolls. Then came the highlight, the Peking Duck, a dish that makes this restaurant famous. The duck is brought to the table, and sliced. The skin is crispy and delicious and the meat is succulent. It is complimented by a sweet plum sauce and cucumbers in a pancake. It is delicious.

We also enjoyed the beef with ginger, which had slices of ginger and soft chucks of beef in a gravy. Another dish that was cooked beautifully was the Chilean Sea Bass in Black Bean sauce.

The lunch menu is cheaper than the dinner menu and the food is excellent. The service was also fantastic.

Met old friends here for dinner tonight and understand why this place is so popular. The Bush Presidents love the place and so do a bunch of who's who in DC.

But the food and the service is why this place is so popular. I'm not a huge Chinese food fan, and I loved my meal. The duck is a specialty and is excellent.

From our Peking Duck appetizer to the coconut ice cream and fried apple desert, everything we had was outstanding. May was our assigned server and she was great.

If you love Chinese Food this place has to be on your list.

Thank Donald M

We of course had the Peking duck which was not only fun to watch them carve table side but also delicious. Egg Drop soup was also flavorful. We all shared the Peking duck and then ordered a lunch special (which was entirely to much food...but nice to try different things). Food came out fast. I couldn't understand much of what the waiter said...I'm good with accents but he was a little mumbly....maybe bc his English wasn't great. Either way food was good and they brought whatever we needed. Ample seating and. It to crowded on a Sunday for lunch. Would recommend.

This Restsurant was made famous by the Bush family as a great place for Peking Duck and that's still the main reason to come. Plus the relaxing decor, the friendly service and the fact that all the other dishes on the menu are good too. Suggestion. Order the Group Meal A for a party of four or more (we were 5). You get Peking Duck carved at your table and 7 other dishes. Really, really good. Even comes with mango ice cream which was a great closing.

It's our tradition to gather here for a big feast whenever we are all in DC. Each time we order a duck, which is eaten with duck sauce, cucumber, green onion and delicate Chinese pancakes. Other favorites are the Five Spice Beef and the Mandarin Fried Rice, which comes with Shrimp. Lunch and Dinner always begins with a pot of hot tea. I love that for decades now it is just as it's always been and we keep coming back and we bring the newer generations of the family with us.
