Typically new restaurants struggle with service - not the case at this newly opened Alta Strada so they have either hired very experienced staff or they have an excellent training program. The wine list was very good (some terrific Tuscan wines) with a broad range of prices. We tried the crunchy meatballs (very rich...one order is enough for 2-3 people). I had the tagliatelle with meat sauce and it was just as good as fresh pasta I have had in Italy. Not "cheap eats" but not crazy expensive...if I had not ordered 2 $18 glasses of wine (it was a super tuscan...had to do it) our bill for 2 people would have been around $65. Portions are generous....consider sharing an appetizer and an entree and use the "surplus" to order a good wine.
