my girl ordered the filet mignon, cooked perfect and very large piece of meat, i had the crab cakes, very good also, the jumbo shrimp and scallops were very good and a good size portion, very quaint place to eat, almost like eating at a friends home

This is a friendly, cosy restaurant, fairly quiet. I had the crab cake appetizer, delicious, especially with the tasty bread for the table. I then had the filet mignon with lobster tail, the former extremely tasty and in a lovely, tangy reduction while the latter was a subtle amalgamation of lobster and vegetables and spices. My wife had the Duck Two Ways which was flat-out excellent. We finished up with the chocolate lava cake and the bread pudding the latter a large portion, warm, just right, with a small scoop of vanilla ice cream.

There was one main waitress with an assistant, both were pleasant and professional. The only caveat I must note is that service can be slow, since they were essentially the team for all of the tables. You really don't mind this slight drawback because the food is so good and the atmosphere so pleasant.

They are about a half-mile SouthEast of the Vermont Country Store so if you plan to visit there I would definitely recommend that you eat at Leslie's but remember Leslie's is only a dinner joint, it opens at five pm.

Dinner on a cold evening, but a warm welcome. Steaks were cooked perfectly to out requests, and the chicken was delicious.

Mostly unfamiliar makers on the wine list, but what we tried was very good and enjoyed by all.

An excellent place to eat. The service has been fine to poor. They often seem understaffed but if you take the chance you'll be happy in this historic warm setting.

Leslie's is always good. John puts a lot of thought into every entree and Leslie is very good at making desserts! I've also taken 2 cooking classes. Great place for dinner!
