This is a terrific, family-friendly rental with all the amenities just a hop skip and jump from Okemo Mountain. The kids loved staying in this spacious home-away-from-home and being able to sprawl out into the multiple living areas. The queen sized bed in one bedroom was ultra comfy, and the 2nd bedroom was a fun room with twin bunk beds. The larger living area sported a pull-out queen sofa-bed, and there was also an extra queen mattress and crib in the closet, and plenty of floor space to put it all! The kitchen had all the conveniences of home, including a dishwasher, washer & dryer, and a small table by the windows which my son promptly relocated to the middle of the large kitchen, making a center cook prep island for the dinner he prepared! If only he'd do that at home more often! Sheryl thoughtfully added small sized accouterments, like low-hanging coat hooks, step stools in kitchen and bathroom, and plastic cups and bowls too. Of course, the wine glasses were available as well! I also really appreciated all the earth-friendly products she provided, like the hand and dish soaps, laundry detergent and dishwasher packs. Tying the whole place together was the fun antique and serviceable furniture in every room. The only reason I gave it only 4 stars is because of the mud on the roads between Ludlow and the rental. There were a couple spots on unpaved roads where we had to be super careful driving in our minivan. Although we've never tried getting there from another direction, and I believe there are alternate routes. Also, to be fair, we happened to arrive on a crazy warm Spring thaw kind of day in the middle of February. Fortunately, there was a comfy place upon entering to remove dirty shoes and boots, so the place stayed clean during our visit, despite the mud outside. Last year, we stayed in the same home -only we had the upstairs unit last time- and there was no mud at all because the ground was still frozen. Thanks again Sheryl, we will see you next year!
