Was very happy with our stay at The Palms Resort. Very clean, very relaxing, great location, just our kind of place!! The cafe was really nice and the Brie Burger was awesome! Highly recommend this place. We will definitely be back!

Room tip: Upstairs was great for us.

I was in charge of choosing a spot for our annual outing. Chose the Palms for a change of pace from chain hotels. Everyone enjoyed the hotel. The towels, bedding and bath products are much nicer than we expected. My complaint would be the complicated, time consuming, check in process. Their change in reservation policy is pathetic.

Room tip: Rooms on south side are sunnier in winter months.

I'm so pleased you enjoyed your annual outing at our little beachside oasis. I apologize for the check-in process. We have shortened it recently and hope you see the improvement when you return.

We're pleased you like our linens. We upgraded all linens about a year ago. We also love the new plush bedding and soft fluffy towels!

Thanks for taking the time to review us on Trip Advisor! We sincerely appreciate it!

Booked room one month in advance. Price was lower than expected. Has heated outdoor pool which is nice this time of year - and it was great being in a heated pool during a cold misty night with drinks coming from the bar-restaurant next to the pool. Wanted specific room that was not available at time of check in so they gave us the "suite" as a substitute. Very nice and extremely large room with new furnishings. Have stayed at this small hotel three times in the past and it continues to improve. Being on the beach does not hurt either. Will stay again and again.

Room tip: Choose the south side for sun in the winter.

Stayed five nights on out first trip to The Palms. I say first because we will certainly return. Three couples enjoyed our stay with many restaurant options close by with none better than the cafe at the property. Be sure and check the red tide situation if you visit in fall. We were limited in our enjoyment of the beautiful beach. We visited Brownsville and the Porter Zoo for a side trip. Rooms are basic and small but well worth the cost with perfect location on SPI.

Wonderful location overlooking the gulf. Helpful, friendly staff. Room was ready early which is great when you are tired from traveling. Great cafe food - try the Brie Burger with homemade chips - but split it unless you are already over 300 pounds!
