We were here for 3 nights and we enjoyed the stay. Seems like the room was recently renovated but in good condition. Breakfast was ok usual complementary food, we were surrounded by people yet didn't hear anybody else which was nice. I loved the morning view of the pier and ocean and also the room had tile flooring (NO CARPET) which was great since I hate hotel carpet!

This renovated hotel that opened July 2017 has a private pier for fishing or just relaxing. Though the hotel faces the water, the rooms do not face the water, but step out of your room just a few steps to view the water or walk a few more steps to the pier. It is smoke free and has a swimming pool. Wifi was spotty.

The desk clerk, Rudy, was friendly and helpful.

Breakfast included eggs, sausage, pancakes, yogurt, cereal, orange juice, and coffee. The decaf coffee was cold. When I pointed that out to Rudy, he stated that since very few people drink decaf, they wait to make it until requested. He quickly made a pot for me.

Our room was ** LARGE ** and neat with a TV, refrigerator, and comfy bed. We could have used a lamp on the desk. The only light in the room are two pot lights over the bed.

Room Tip: If wifi is important to you, check out your room before you unpack.

We went to Rockport for a quick trip to the beach. We stayed at Quality Inn off Funston Avenue. The place was very clean and updated. Our king size bed was in a large room with a lot of space. Continental breakfast was ok.
Had their own pier to fish and a swimming pool. We would stay their again.

We needing a quick get away for 5 days, with a clean room, near the water, and on the outskirts of the town - that's exactly what we got! Breakfast was decent, clean room, plenty of space in the room to store our bicycles and lawn chairs and still have plenty of room, tile flooring - you might want to bring a small lamp as all the lighting is overhead.
We would definitely stay here again!

I agree with previous review. The old building was torn down and this new building was built in its place. They are still adding more to the building as well. The parking lot is newly paved and striped. The rooms look and smell new. This is a hidden gem right now. The pool is awesome and they have a private fishing pier for the guests to use. The staff was friendly and very helpful.

Room Tip: Room 117 is a ground floor room, You can park right in front of the room.
