First self catering holiday for a few years and made a pleasant change, no repetitive hotel food,we ate and drank when and where we fancied from home made breakfast toasties to full buffet breakfast at the hotel. The hotel staff were first class and very helpful , sent an email before as were traveling with family members and were given next door rooms. clean and tidy room but only one electric socket by the sink which was sometimes a problem when needing to use more than one item at a time. This is a problem which will soon be sorted as our other family members had one of the very nice updated rooms with a shower instead of a bath and plenty of sockets. nice room, situated in a good spot close to sea front and some good restaurants good size pool but filled with salt water, not good for the eyes so bring mask or goggles if you like swimming under water.

A really nice experience, villa well equipped and close to the pool and 2 mins to the sea. A busy place but it added to the atmosphere and everyone was friendly. Amenities were good but expensive. The local supermarket is well equipped but overpriced. If you can do a 15 minute walk to the mercadona it's well worth it. Definitely recommend this resort.

First time we've stayed at PS3 in a couple of years.Studio room number 3143,which got the sun in the evening.Although we were in 3 we spent our time in the pool at PS4,which we find quieter during the day.No complaints about anything with our room or any noise etc during the nights. The same staff were there on our last visit and it was just like slipping back into old routines.Love the location of this complex.Hard to beat in my opinion.Just be aware that there is no air conditioning and no lifts in most of the blocks. It's never been an issue for us having no aircon.Looking forward to another stay here in the future....

After reading the reviews we had hoped that we would be put in Santiago IV but III did not disappoint. The apartment was on 2 levels, with more than enough space for 2 adults and a 14 year old. I thought that not having air-conditioning would be a nightmare but we found it fine. I think that any updating of the apartment would make it lose its charm, which it ouses! The pool area is so good that you'd struggle to find better, the 'strict' lifeguard has a job to do despite sometimes being over the top. Location is perfect next to all the nice restaurants above the shopping centre and about 15 mins walk to the main British area.
For Siam and loro Park tickets we bought the ultimate ticket from attraction tix before we left which was great value.
We had very little contact with the hotel staff other than from when our son lost his mobile phone they were extremely helpful.
Great stay

The room is large enough for a family of six even though the rooms upstairs are crazy warm 24 hours a day. There is no air conditioning in the rooms, however you can hire a portable unit but when when we inquired we were told not to bother as it wouldn't have much impact in our apartment. The housekeeping services are excellent. Very clean and professional staff including the reception team. Great that it has wifi but once you leave the room then your code runs out until you return so no wifi at the pool. The pool is great except for the high intensity of salt in the pools. It might be my imagination but seems a great deal more salty than the sea. The beach is literally a couple of minutes walk but most of the closest beach has massive stones explaining why most of it is empty and the rest quite busy. The beach shoes help a lot as this isn't a pleasant sandy beach like those you'll find even in places like Barcelona never mind the kind in Brazil or the Caribbean. The apartment water seems constantly cold from 5pm to at least 9pm due to demand as we were told by reception. We tried the restaurant and it is currently the only bad meal we've had in Tenerife after eating out for a week. The usual applies that if you don't get up early and reserve your loungers then your left to take one outside the gym away from anything in particular. The music from the attached corner bar will keep families awake until well after 11pm unless you're deaf or a very heavy sleeper. The small children's pool section up to 12 years old is nice and doesn't have salt water. You have to pay for 'luxuries' like hair dryers and the safe in your room. Great location in respect to some wonderful restaurants including Bianco. There is a radio on the wall purely for show. A distinct lack of electrical sockets. 2 fridges are useful and the washing machine, only two, downstairs for everyone to share at cost. One week to go and still enjoying myself.
