Just back from a two week break at the Christobal . The first thing you notice is the noise generated by the entertainment team around the main pool. Our bungalow was quite a distance away from the main pool but I could make out every bingo number. The pool area had lots of broken tiles and was surprised there was not more cut feet. The entertainment was average performed by enthusiastic performers and was all finished by 10pm .There was building work getting done when we were there which meant there was no wellness,Spa or tennis courts available. Which I was Not informed about this by Jet 2

The grounds are well kept , the bungalows themselves are fairly spacious with exception being the bathroom which was very small . The kitchen is equipped with a two ring hob and a microwave but in need of upgrading . We had cockroaches and lots of ants in bungalow. There was a tin of cockroach spray in a cabinet when I arrived and realised why very soon . The room have a safe which can be hired for 3 Euros per day
The plus side was the food , we found the choice varied and of good quality, served by very friendly staff
We were all inclusive and would not recommend it to anyone , the quality of the local drinks was very poor with no imported drinks available on the all inclusive . All around the hot drink machine at the bar were ants ,which were completely ignored by bar staff and on one occasion the area was covered in baby spiders .

The hotel complex comprised of various types and standard of bungalows dotted around well maintained gardens and surrounds. There was a large dining room, downstairs entertainment room and bar, a very large main pool area with poolside bar and another good sized pool with a slide, kiddies pool and splash area for children. the snack bar was also located in this area as well as a small play park. A tennis court was located near the main reception area. Nearby was a couple of supermarkets.

We stayed six nights all-inclusive in a spacious two bedroom bungalow with a lounge/kitchenette, and a bathroom with a hairdryer. The kitchenette was well equipped for those wishing to stay self-catering, including a fridge, microwave oven, electric hob, kettle, sink, etc. There was also a dining table and chairs, as well as a bed settee and a lounge chair. Storage space was also ample in each room and there was a safe available in the main bedroom at a cost of three Euros per day.

Some bungalows had air-conditioning. Ours didn't, but there was a ceiling fan in each room, which was adequate for the time of year. There was an outside veranda with a table and four chairs, plus two sunbeds. There were also plenty of sunbeds and parasols available around both pools. We never had a problem getting one throughout our stay.

The staff in the main were friendly and helpful, check-in was quick and straightforward. The food was really nice with plenty to choose from at each meal, with a different international theme every evening. There was also a children's servery provided for the smaller guests, if required.

The beach was some distance from the hotel, but there was a courtesy bus provided that ran to and from throughout the day.

I suppose the only thing that let the hotel down for us was the kiddies disco and snack bar, which we thought were both disappointing compared to other similar hotels we have stayed at. Unfortunately, there wasn't much to choose from at the snack bar. Each day it was ham, cheese, bread/bread rolls, fruit, pastries and ice-cream. One day they did put out some burgers, but no chips/fries to go with them. Despite that, we had a great holiday and would definitely go back again.

The hotel is approx 20 mins transfer from the airport. The reception staff were reasonably polite n very efficient check in.
We had a bungalow with air con n no b day! Rooms were big enough for the 3 of us. Cleaned every day except Sundays. We did encounter some ants but not on a grand scale! The entertainment staff in the day were great ( both Thomas Cook and Animacion team) they encouraged you to join in but not too pushy. At night the entertainment was inside 6 out of 7 nites which would have been better outside. The entertainment at night varied in quality but kids disco kept the kids busy. There were regular appearances from Lollo and Bernie and Chachi which is always a bonus with young kids. The food was a bit repetitive. We are veggies n there def was not enough variety. The restaurant set up is wrong as queues are created unnecessarily as the cooking chef is in the middle of the hot plate. Also air con was off in restaurant. The pools were great. Clean pools and hotel grounds but sun lounger area not cleaned all week. Kids are allowed in 'jacuzzi' but not with arm bands on on their own. We got free bus to the beach but it was disappointing and not what we expected to see compared to previous hols. We couldnt find any shops or bars nearby apart from supermarket. When we did venture out we encountered numerous people begging for money. The hotel was a great place to stay and the pools superb just not the greatest for food or nearby bars n gift shops if you want to get out for a bit.

From early morning to late evening, this hotel is blasting high volume music and the annoying "entertainment team" is constantly yelling and screaming nonsense in a megaphone, harassing everyone withing hundreds of meters around this hotel.

It's unbelievable how this hotel doesn't take it into account, that people living or staying anywhere near it, are harrassed by the continuous hulabaloo, noise and yelling.

Just turn the noise down!!
