On arrival the office was closed but a lovely note and directions were left for us. Our apartment was gorgeous. Very clean and well maintained the whole village is beautiful and green and very well maintained.
The swimming pool again was lovely and clean and we spent many hours around the pool. Little playground for the kids was great too. 5 minutes from beach, port with fair, market and massive playground. We knew we were booking somewhere without a kids club etc and were concerned about keeping the kids busy however on the whole they we were able to keep them entertained. A couple of days of rain were difficult as there really was much to do but in terms of value for money I would say it's well worth it. Palau is beautiful the people are very friendly and welcoming we rented a car to get out and about and visited a few further out beaches which were stunning.
We intended to go to the water park however it doesn't open till mid June but we managed a boat trip which was unreal! Broke the holiday up a bit and we got all the info needed from reception.

On their amenities, they say Air conditioning, however you have to pay for it! Towels cost extra 10 euros, so make sure you bring your own. You will be charged 50 euros for cleaning. On arrival they demand you leave 200 euros deposit in cash for any breakages, which they will give back to you when you leave, minus the 50 euros for cleaning. free WiFi is only free for 2 hours per day! These are only a few things that came to our attention on our arrival. I notice that none of these are mentioned underneath their facilities. Our bed: a sofa that becomes a bed! No side table to put your spectacles or your water by your bedside before you go to sleep. At the time of staying, it is cold at night, but we dare not ask for warmth as this will cost extra! And to think that they advertise themselves as a 4-star hotel! I would class them as a 4-star out of 100!

Dear mpriest,

we are sorry to receive your bad review. Is not a good thing for us to read that a guest had a bad experience in our residence.
We just want to specify that all our extra costs to pay on spot, are well indicated in all the web pages where our property is published.
Air conditioning is included in the price of the apartment, and we are sure that you didn't well understand each other with the colleagues at the reception. The apartment that you reserved was a Studio apartment, and, as indicated in all the description of the property, is composed by a living room with sofa bed. We are sorry that for you was a surprise.
Our relationship with customers is normally very clear and correct, and it is not our habit to deceive any of our guests.
The satisfaction of our guests is always the first place for us.

We wish you a good conitnuation

We booked our holiday without really looking too deep into it - we just wanted to go back to Sardinia after our first (5 star spa hotel) visit in 2016... and we got a great deal for a self catering apartment (small kitchenette) at Palau Green Village. We had a fabulous 7 night holiday here... Marina and Stefan were warm and welcoming.. the room was large and airy with en suite and just enough cooking facilities for a couple to make breakfast and snacks if we needed.. there is a circular pool in the middle of the apartments but it was slightly too chilly weather wise for us to dip in... it was well maintained.. The surroundings were the main thing .. lush green woodland leading down to the beach
.. many early morning strolls and enjoyment of the woodland gym (not sure if this was more to do with the adjacent camping or our apartments but we felt it was open to all..) and the grounds around the apartments themselves were well planted and maintained .. the layout lovely and we just had a feeling of calm professionalism.. the owners were there if needed .. for advice of aces to visit, or for more towels at. But other than this we could just.. be.
We had a large TV, free WIFI, basic cooking facilities (took out own kettle though you can hire one from the host for a small fee) Towel packs are 10 euros (1 bathsheet, 1 medium and 1 hand towel) there is a deposit up front on arrival and also a cleaning fee ( ...read the small print when booking. ☺) We recommend Palau Green Village for location and ambience and hope to revisit in the future. (Didn't take pics inside the digs much as we were out a lot (hired a car so we could dip about a lot and visited Capo Testa, Porto Rafael among others.. but we walked a lot too. Capo D"Orso aka the Bear Rock is only a good 3 mile stroll from Our apartment)

My daughter and I have just returned from 5 night stay at Paula Green Village, We had read reviews after booking and were worried about incurring extra charges etc. As our plane was delayed and we had trouble getting hire car at airport we did not arrive until very late and thought we would incur extra fees for late arrival, No such thing instead we found we had been upgraded to apartment from studio The apartment was spacious and well equipped meeting all our needs,The pool area was well kept and beautiful gardens made tranquil setting. You do have to make a little effort to recycle rubbish properly, and it is worth hiring car to visit the many beautiful beaches This was our first visit to Sardinia and we were very impressed ,everyone friendly and helpful ,and we will definitely be back
