First of all, this hotel is pretty much in the middle of nowhere in a quite boring industrial area, but it was the closest hotel the the customer I needed to visit, it was the obvious choice. At first glance, rooms are quite spacious and clean although you do notice some imperfections as you look closer.
When I got in the room, it was freezing cold and it did take quite some time to warm up. The biggest disappointment was undoubtedly the television set; in order to change channels or volume, I had to stand right in front of the TV, otherwise the remote would not work. This is probably due to old batteries, but hotel staff should check this when preparing the room.
Other than that, the bed was quite comfortable and ok for a night or two.
In the morning, breakfast was alright and there were enough choices if it weren't for the bus of 80+ Chinese tourists who made sure hotel staff had a tough time keeping up with bringing food out... I felt bad for them as they had to run back and forth to make sure the breakfast buffet was replenished. Also, the hotel features free underground parking, which is nice if you arrive by car. It's not really a hotel I would choose for a family vacation but for business it will do.
In the evening, we also at the hotel restaurant as it was quite late and we were tired, but I do not recommend this restaurant as it was not really good and no dish stood out.
The hotel also has a happy hour, but it means a mere 15% off your drinks, so that's nothing to remember either.
Finally, the January rate was 49 EUR for a room, which is really not bad at all (but after my stay, the rate went up to 69 EUR already and I think it can only go up as the weather gets warmer).
