Just spent a weekend at this great hotel. Awesome customer service - everyone was very nice and eager to make our stay pleasant. Beautiful Hotel - everything was new and clean. Highly recommend it. Plan to stay here again in future Houston visits.

This hotel is perfectly located in the Houston Museum District. Several museums within walking distance. Our stay here was above and beyond our expectations. The staff was professional and friendly. Our rooms were clean and tastefully decorated. The rooms were cozy and quiet. Thanks to "Rida" for making our event special! (Eat at the hotel restaurant also-The Monarch. Delicious.) Every one should stay at this historic hotel (used to be The Warwick Hotel)!!

Room tip: The suites are amazingly large.

My husband and I (finally) stayed at Hotel ZaZa on 12/22 to celebrate our wedding. We frequently do "staycations" at top hotels in Houston and were saving this one for a special occasion. Booked the Junior Suite and $500 later ($350 room + $150 for valet, dessert, and breakfast), we were highly dissatisfied. The room itself was run down. There were smudges on all the white doors and on the wall behind the "living room" chairs. The "living room" itself was literally just 3 chairs (no couch, nothing). The dining table chairs were COVERED in glitter from a previous guest and the one standing lamp in the bedroom was broken and leaning. I would expect this from a $50-$80/night room, not the ZaZa. Not to mention the fire alarm went off in the middle of the night and the power went out for a transformer blow (not the hotel's fault, but certainly insult on injury). I wish I could get my money back and re-do my wedding night -- what a huge, huge let down.

We are looking forward to booking our next stay at Hotel Zaza Houston. Mr. Lee Mays Jr, assistant rooms operations manager, made sure we had an exquisite stay. Our room was beautiful, clean and comfortable. The Monarch restaurant was delicious — we ate dinner and breakfast there the next morning. We had the pleasure of using the complimentary ZaZa shuttle service to Zoo Lights and it was great. The drivers were so friendly and professional. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Houston museum district.

We had a minor problem with our room and the entire hotel staff performed beyond excellent to make things right. Especially Mark Flores, Chris the bartender, Lee, and Gabby. Did not get his name but also a new assistant manager.

Room tip: Suites on south end of building have great views.
