This place is nice and in a wonderful spot. Our food was good, but not ‘great’. Each dish we had had strange seasoning. I’m sure some people love it but for us it just wasn’t a classic taste. The staff was wonderful as were the Bloody Marys.

While waiting to catch a historical viewing at a nearby museum we stopped for drinks and it was happy hour - many frosty and signature drinks only $5! My frosty blended raspberry margarita was great and only $5! Top it off they have a Happy Hour bar food menu, we had the hot seafood and nacho dip only $10. Very great service, we ate outside enjoyed the pier. We then took in the show at the museum and came back for dinner. Outstanding blackened catfish topped with tons of crawfish and savory sauce and rice. Seafood Gumbo also good. Looked like a very creative menu all around, not that expensive.

We were looking for some bar/Happy Hour snacks to tide us over till supper. Maybe a drink to go along with it. Wow! The price values of the Happy Hour menu really caught our attention. That's one thing, but the quality of the drinks, the food and the service means we're coming back. $5 Mai Tai's that rivaled any others we've had in terms of quality and taste and the size blows away all other contenders, Happy Hour or no. We had the $7 Fries and Friends and the shrimp were hot, sizable and fried perfectly. The little fries, eh, whatever- not a shoestring-type fan. Service impeccable. Of course this might all be due to the bartender Jenny. This gal knows her job, knows how to make a Mai Tai and was a pleasure to talk to as well. Ask for Jenny and don't scrimp on the tip- she works hard. Four great Mai Tai's for $20, eight great shrimp and fries for $14 and all of this available Mon-Fri, 11 am to 7 pm- is this a great country or what?

We had a group of 30 for lunch at Willie G's. We had called ahead several days to let them know we were coming and called that morning to let them know the exact number. They were really not staffed to handle that many. We only had two waiters for the whole group. Service was very slow. I had the red fish with a crawfish and crab topping. It was tasty but it was dried out. THe lemon sauce that was supposed to be on top was cooked into the crab and crawfish topping which probably added to the problem.
I think the food would have been excellent if they had not been preparing for so large a group.

Good food and great views. staff was nice and professional. Nice place for Sunday evening dinner. Highly recommend.
