Description: Opened in January 1998 by Jorge and Antonio Oyervides and a friend, Frank Diaz, Salsas Mexican & Seafood Restaurant is their first restaurant, though the three have been in the restaurant business for more than 24 years. Salsas is located at 4604 Seawall Boulevard - and features plenty of parking, a breathtaking Gulf view from our enormous outdoor patio, and beautiful sunshine. Our fine Mexican restaurant is bright, clean and colorful. Each table features two tantalizingly-different salsas, along with crispy, light tortilla chips. The menu offers traditional Mexican dishes like chicken or beef fajitas, enchiladas and burritos, plus some not-so-traditional platters such as seafood with a south-of-the-border flair. We invite you to savor your favorite dish and enjoy our frothy, refreshing margaritas. Happy Hour is Monday thru Friday from 3pm to 7pm. Salsas offers a daily Lunch Special from 11am to 3pm Monday thru Friday. Pickup orders are welcomed; simply call ahead. We look forward to serving your entire family!Salsa's Mexican Restaurant offers a breathtaking Gulf view from our enormous outdoor patio, and beautiful sunshine. Enjoy our colorful, delicious Mexican food along with a frothy, refreshing margarita.

After a long day of travel and fun - it had gotten later than we thought LOL. Tex Mex = comfort food for us. Seated right away and drink order taken. My drink was good but don't recall what it was. Food was great! I had Laredo dinner - enchiladas, tamales and guacamole - only thing is guac wasn't spicy enough for me. My husband had big burrito beef which he said was pretty good an filled him up.

At first glance this is a nice restaurant. The staff was friendly and after ordering I found the food had an unusual taste I asked the waitress what ingredients the salsa had and her reply was "They don't tell us that." I then told her that it tasted bad and had a bitter spoiled flavor to it. When I ask what ingredients in a food most well informed waiters/waitress respond with the ingredients, like "green peppers, tomatoes sauteed with a blend of spices and a little brown black hot pepper" not "they don't tell us" what you want us to believe this is some sort of SECRET Sauce, really! My sister ordered a desert because she told the waitress "I'm really not hungry at all so I'm going to order just a small desert" so she ordered a fried ice cream and when it arrived it was almost a quart of ice cream over deep fried ice cream and a lot of toppings. It looked great, but the waitress should have said this desert was huge and not a manageable portion based on my sisters comment. Poor Service, Bad Food!

Stopped by while in Galveston. It was great. Had 2 different salsas. They were both good Had a group of 7 and everyone loved their choice. Prices were about what I expected. Margaritas were awesome too!

Pretty standard Tex-Mex fare. Restaurant is really big, great for families with kids or large parties.

House margaritas are amazing. Staff is friendly, great food! Chips and salasa!!! The full size margarita is a tad bit pricy but so worth it.
