Opted to stay here vs the Grand Hyatt when I missed my connection b/c of airplane maintenance. Grand Hyatt was $100 more per night. The technology at the Hyatt Regency is outdated. Lamp switches are from the 70s. No coffee maker in my room in spite of all the supplies for it. Room service was marginal at best. All for about $200 per night. Was skeptical of my room placement given it was near the ice maker and very noisy in the hall outside my room but room was quiet.

This hotel room was very nice. We had traveled from Australia, had been assured of a shuttle service from airport to hotel on arrival. However, this did not eventuate, & shuttle phone number we were given was not answered. Staff were nice & gave us a discount for the trouble. Just don’t rely on their shuttle service.

Our flight got cancelled recently on our way back to Tulsa and had to get a hotel room due to weather in the area. I feel this hotel took advantage of the weather situation and a number of flights being cancelled to raise their price for the evening. We paid way to much for a very dated hotel room. Although the room was nice the drains in the sink were clogged and you could tell the place had been updated to appear new.

Service was ok but they knew they had a captive audience for the evening and charged a ridiculous price compared to the normal rates.

Stayed at Hyatt Regency DFW as my flight was last minute cancelled and I booked via Expedia. Everything was smoothly for booking and check in was smooth when you were super tired after a 15+hours flight, hours of delay in transit flight then was eventually cancelled.

Staff was friendly which you felt slightly better. Ensure smooth check-in although it wasn’t cheap at all but when you’re almost desperate, that’s comforting when you’re welcome and smoothly settled in your room for a short night.

Breakfast was decent and good at what you will mostly want for a good breakfast. Just the coffee wasn’t good. If in terms of this price, it’s not worth that much on hardware but they have good staff which is definitely an asset to them.

Overall a nice hotel that has hosted our annual event for many years. Staff were well prepared for our attendees and were very helpful. Rooms are reasonably quiet, beds are comfortable. However, pillows have no loft, so bring your own if you are used to a pillow that keeps your neck straight. Shower was very nice, but both the shower pan and sink were very slow to drain. Room A/C struggled to maintain the temperature you set, and rooms were overly humid most of the time. Hallways were downright warm and very humid. One elevator became known as being undependable and some friends were trapped for a few minutes on it over the course of the meeting. Food was consistently good in the bar and restaurant, but service seemed unnecessarily slow, given the ratio of staff to customers. This is a problem if you have limited time, and there are essentially no nearby options outside the hotel without about a 15 to 20 minute drive out of the airport.
