There is a lot going on in this museum . We were a little concerned at the start with the middle ages , but it really took off fast into some very good history and interactive displays.

My daughter brought me here for my birthday because she knew I have been wanting to go since it opened. We spent over 2 hours in it. Enjoyed it all. The only thing was when we got our tickets the person behind the desk highly recommended one audio tour so we wouldn’t miss anything. Ha was no need at all for it especially since it was so low you could not hear it.

We are very in depth when it comes to touring museums so it took us upwards of 3 hours to tour the entire museum. We opted for the guided audio tour, but I wouldn’t recommend it. Each exhibit in the museum has a placard which you can read that is almost identical to what you listen to during the audio tour. I wish we had passed on it. Once you start looking through the museum you get caught up in all the artifacts and forget about the audio tour. And there’s already soooo much information to look at and read, it’s just redundant to listen to it also. The museum takes you through the mid-evil times torture devices and the old west and then to gangsters and modern day forensics. It was A LOT of information to take in, but thought the price was reasonable for all there was to do and look at.

This museum was pretty outstanding. It had so much information on crimes from the Middle Ages to Present. Lots of interactive activities. Good for all ages.
