The steak and mushroom pie was wonderful! Pastry was strong enough to hold the fillings but soft and flaky enough to cut through. Definitely would recommend if you're in the area!

Such a busy country bakery. Lots of variety. We shared a tasty chicken and avacado toasted foccacia. And a very good coffee. Decided to grab a normal vanilla and a passionfruit vanilla slice to take away. And when we finally stopped we had that and a bottle of bubbles for afternoon tea. The pies sausage rolls and pasties are supposed to be great too. And with a good variety of sweet pastries desserts and fresh breads available definitely worth popping in if you're passing by

We arrived about 2 pm in the arvo on Thursday we got off the Calder at C342 and drove into Woodend to have a late lunch. We parked and wondered down the Main shopping strip. We looked at few eateries but the bakery at the end of the block was exactly what our grumbly tummies wanted. We walked in Sat down it was pretty quiet. I ordered plain beef pie and veggie pasty 2 hot chocolates. You need to take food and collect drinks to the table yourself and you are given a timer to let you know when it’s ready. As I was with my mum who walks with a mobility walker it would be a bit squashy if you had prams or wheelchairs and there is no disabled/accessible toilet or change room but there are public toilets in the Main Street so be aware. The food was lovely and mum liked it she took a few veggie pasties as takeaway. The service is fantastic and it is very clean and everything is made fresh on premises. So if you are driving up to Bendigo this is a great place to stop for a snack. Please remember that it would be busy lunchtime, race days and weekends but arvo during the week is perfect.

Not just an ordinary bakery, this place has the best muffins and coffee in the area. They also win prizes for their vanilla slices, and their selection of fresh breads is excellent.
Plenty of tables for sit down eating.
