Review of Glyndwr's Way

Glyndwr's Way

An absolutely beautiful place to visit ,the river that runs through it twists and turns and
Is quite tranquil to watch .plenty of woodland to walk through as well as open fields
And hills to walk up( if you feel energetic enough.

Well signposted. Some of the most beautiful views of rural Wales to be had on this walk. Well worth the physical effort in order to see parts of Wales not typically seen on road journeys.

Beautiful part of Great Britain, great views and plenty of different terrains we walked up through the woods across open fields and down a hill of ferns. Fresh air and lots of walking.

We stayed in Knighton (which is the starting point) and only walked a short way along Glyndwr's way but would have loved to have done more. Despite the showers, the dell at the start of the walk was delightful - rippling tream, benches, a place to sit and ponder. Here is where England meets Wales and you can stand on a yellow line with one foot in Wales and one foot in England. Very novel and a good photo opportunity. Will go back one day.
