“Nice property - car ruining drive”
Reviewed 23 August 2018 for a stay in June 2018

Nice property that was as advertised - thoroughly enjoyed being in it. However, it's at the end of a ~1km drive that nobody seems to bother cutting the vegetation on either side off, and the tougher bits of this scratch the paint on a car horribly when you drive along it. So frustrating as it could be so nice!

“Perfect country cottage”
Reviewed 5 April 2018 for a stay in March 2018

Without the owners directions we would have struggled to find the property, tucked away down a quiet daffodil lined lane, but when the cottage comes into view it’s all worth it! Basic provisions are provided on arrival, though we’d not spotted the 2nd fridge until after we bought milk(!). The cottage is much bigger than you’d think, with two comfy sitting rooms, dining room and large country kitchen, with three big bedrooms, bathroom and a spacious play area with sofa bed on the landing. All nicely decorated. We didn’t have young children with us but there was a good selection of toys for those that do. There is a lovely, enclosed garden with a separate seating area and a useful outbuilding housing garden chairs and a tumble dryer. The kitchen is well equipped, although I couldn’t find an oven glove which would have been really useful (might have missed it) with a good selection of crockery, glasswear, utensils etc. There are two wood burners which were a god-send bearing in mind the weather, and it was lovely to settle in front of them with a glass of wine. Our two dogs were welcomed, there’s even a water bowl provided, and a hose pipe positioned right outside the back door to deal with dirty feet! The lane is so quiet and safe we could let them jump into the car right outside the door to drive to the various coves, bays and beaches just a short drive from the cottage. We had a lovely stay and would love to return when the weather is a bit warmer later in the year. Highly recommended.

“Autumn week in Wales”
Reviewed 26 September 2017 for a stay in September 2017

Great accommodation in rural location. Ideal for cliff top walks, north Wales castles, beaches and generally getting away from it all.
Comfortable spacious rooms and we really appreciated the wood burners!
Hope to return some day.
