“Stunning Views”
Reviewed 16 August 2017 for a stay in August 2017

Stunning views across towards Mawddach trail with a excellent pub/hotel across the wonderful toll bridge, a lovely walk in both day and evening.
Lots of walking trails nearby and wonderful beaches.
Went to Bounce Below approx. 45 mins away had a great day out for all, well located to visit many places. On the whole the cottage suited us all with plenty of space in bedrooms and kitchen and lounge area to accommodate us all a party of nine.
bonus for the grown ups and children a football table.
Lovely space outside to sit in the evenings..

Thank you and you certainly seem to have done a lot of activities. Perhaps the wave machine near Bala next time?

“Stunning views from this wonderful holiday house.”
Reviewed 3 August 2017 for a stay in July 2017

This holiday cottage stands in wonderful gardens which the children enjoyed exploring. It has a modern kitchen, large dining area, and spacious lounge. The bedrooms have ensuite facilities. We enjoyed sitting on the terrace enjoying the stunning view of the Mawddach estuary, and also walking in the estuary from the George 3rd pub nearby. The seaside resort of Barmouth with beautiful beaches, is easily reached by car..We had a wonderful holiday, and would come again.

Thank you so much. I agree there is so much for children to explore in the dunes and barmouth beach does have a seasonal life guard and there are parts where you can take dogs. I am so glad you appreciated the house and enjoyed the views across the water and valley.

Thank you. I am so glad you enjoyed Ar y Graig. Yes, children seem to really enjoy the 'hide and seek' garden. Even on a dull day the view across the estuary can be mesmerising at it shifts and changes with the tidal water.

“Perfect Welsh get-away”
Reviewed 25 March 2017 for a stay in March 2017

I went with a group of eleven people to this amazing cottage with incredible views across the valley. Some of us took advantage of the proximity to Antur Stiniog to go biking for day whereas I opted for the more sedate version and went for long walks in the Welsh countryside, which can be accessed really easily through the back garden!
As well as Snowdonia, you are also a short drive away from a slate mine which - although a pretty steep walk - is home to an amazing deep blue pool, which if you're up for it would provide a very bracing swim!
The views this cottage has really are incredible and it provides plenty of things to do if the weather does end up letting you down, including wifi, TV, board games and a football table. There are plenty of ensuites as well which ensures no competition for the showers - always a must when you're going with so many people! We also went into Barmouth and experienced the local nightlife there - it's only a short drive or taxi ride away.
Little details like the fire in the living room, helpful notes and tips left by Joy really top the cake. Previous guests have mentioned the drive is steep - which it is - but we experienced no problems getting our cars in or reversing out. Overall, would highly recommend and definitely would consider coming back again!
