Great value for small or larger groups. Perfect location. Beautiful views over the estuary from the large south facing patio. This house has pretty much everything you could possibly need and more, even a welcoming gift from the owner. Spotlessly clean. Spacious and very well equipped. The new kitchen is terrific.
A few lines here can't do it justice.
Just go there. You won't be disappointed.
We'll certainly be booking again.

I agree, although it can easily accommodate 11 people, even as a couple the house feels welcoming. I think the open plan lay out downstairs helps with this.

Thank you. Although the kitchen extension was quite an outlay we feel that the property has really benefited from the modern open plan area downstairs now.

“This is a lovely property in any weather.”
Reviewed 8 May 2015 for a stay in April 2015

The living area is lovely with great views of the estuary. The garden is also lovely. I went with a mixed family group and it was a great space to share with plenty of space to cook, eat and relax. We are hoping to go back.

I agree, watching the weather rolling in from the coast up the estuary is fascinating and changes with the tide. Whether it is white puffy clouds on an azure sky or low moody wafts of sea mist, it is an enthralling moving picture. There is a constant flurry of various birds passing by and the black cows cross to and fro all day and the top of Cader Idris plays peekaboo!

“Great value - lots to do and fab house”
Reviewed 27 April 2015 for a stay in April 2015

We had a long weekend (Friday to Tuesday) with a group of friends (7 of us - 2 girls 5 guys). We had amazing weather which was wonderful - Visted Powis Castle on the way - House has modern kitchen and plenty of space for our large group. Great outside seating area which we used every night and on site barbecue - Spent all our time outside walking/cycling. This will definitely be an annual event now - Clear communication from the home owner and we did see the house keeper. Top notch self catering place

Yes, so much to do in the area and stunning walks even from the garden gate up in to the forests and mountains or even find the hidden lake! I hope you walked across the estuary to The George The Third pub with its beautiful riverside location and feed the ducks and swans and a varied menu.

We are so glad you enjoyed your stay and would love to welcome you back. Perhaps try the autumn as the colours on the hills and in the forests are gorgeous then.
