“Peaceful, perfect eco luxury with stunning Welsh views!”

My husband and I and our two sons (and two dogs!) spent four glorious nights here.

It was magical arriving in the dark, walking through the pretty gate up to the house, with the unique lights turned on for us, and the incredibly comfy beds made up perfectly...
Every last detail for cooking, washing, make a fire, sleep well, keep warm, and enjoy the space has been thought of and thought of creatively and beautifully (but for a tea towel missing, which was corrected immediately).

It was fresh, clean, and the perfect size for a really chilled-out family break.

There's internet access, a playground & games room a short walk from the house, and local honey and their own meat for sale. Beyond the little Hobbit garden (fully equipped with barbecue) are picturesque sheep and a stunning view of the valley. There are wellies available if you forget your own, and a laundry room near by.
The underfloor heating and insulation (triple-layer eco, apparently, according to Farmer Jack..) meant that we were cosy and content even through a rainy night of high winds.... It'd be an amazing place for a getaway Christmas or Valentines break.

We visited Lampeter for lunch one day, and the local honey bee farm, which the boys loved. There are beaches and walks aplenty... if you can bear to leave the leather armchairs by the woodburner...

Nothing but glowing praise from all of us...We'll be back!

Liked best: Discovering all the creative features around the house. And the feather bed!
Liked least: The water in the shower wasn't boiling due to the current electricity set-up apparently, but it's something they are aware of and dealing with...

A beautiful house, furnished with love and style in a remote location. The farm had everything we wished for: animals, a playground, little shop, sandpit, gamesbarn, berries.... Just perfect for a family holiday with kids. The hobbit house is a great place. A car is needed to get around, but there is a lot to do with kids of all ages. Alltogether we had a great time and would definitly recommend it further.
