This place is beautiful but when checking in it took forever to finally get in. The room was clean and we really enjoyed the snacks and water in the room. We were also pleasantly surprised by the cookies dropped off each evening . We were very unhappy that the first day when we got back to our room and were ready to freshen up for dinner and found our room had never been serviced. After calling twice we did get some towels brought to the room. The second day we used the free shuttle to get to breakfast but when we called them to pick us back up they never showed up. We waited an hour and finally took an Uber back to the resort. After being home for a day I noticed that they had charged my card for the stay and I had paid via Expedia. I called and was assured that the card would be refunded. After 2 days and no refund I called again and was told they would refund a portion but not the resort fees and tax. I explained I had already paid this and she would not refund. I asked to speak with a manager but was transferred to a voice mailbox. So beware if you stay here of charges to your card.

Room Tip: You can have a interior room which looks over the store or a exterior room which looks over the city

This was an absolute treat to stay at the old Memphis Pyramid, after living in Memphis for years. The elevator to the top is super fun and the view of Memphis from the rooftop was GRAND- especially at sunset! Our kids (10,9 and 3) LOVED the glow in the dark bowling alley (we bowled 2x). It has an underwater theme and even the bowling balls are critters with eyes! The grand fireplaces in the front lobby were our meeting place and so much fun took place around them. Of course it was a treat to shop in the HUGE Bass Pro Shop store, but even more than that, the kids loved waking up each morning to open the curtains to the view of the store. They enjoyed seeing it closed, and also when the employees would come in early and walk around getting the store ready. The restaurant at the top was a bit disappointing (service was slow and food was mediocre) but it was a very cool dining experience. Kids ask to return all the time!

Amazing place and very, very nice. Rustic, perfect for our liking!! Most rooms have lookout from the room(ours had a balcony) to see down into the store! Recommend but pricey, nice for a splurge couple nights!!
