Our UK friends picked this place to eat. We were in memphis for lunch. Food was excellent. We were able to get a table immediately on a Thursday mid afternoon. As we left it was getting crowded. Great food and drinks.

We came to Memphis ready for some good food and we found it here. We ended up eating here twice during our trip for lunch and dinner. We got the pickles, catfish bites, ribs and burger during our visit. All items were phenomenal!! Would go back in a heart beat.

I made reservations a few weeks before our actual lunch/dinner at BB Kings. When we arrived I said we had a reservation and the young lady at the counter just waved us upstairs to a table, didn't even ask the name on the reservation. Nowhere on the website did it indicate there was a $10.00 cover charge so I was totally shocked when I had to pay $50.00 for our party. The music was playing when we arrived but within 15 minutes there was a break - about 20-25 minutes. The food was OK but I have had better. We waited 17 minutes before we were even approached by a server after we caught the attention of an employee (not a server). The table we were seated at was extremely sticky and the salt and pepper shakers were dirty. Our food and drink bill came to about $192.00 plus the $50.00 for cover for a total of $242.00.

We traveled from Minnesota for this lunch/dinner with family and were very disappointed. This was to be a special day for my brother who is very ill and it upset me that I made the choice to eat here. Hopefully my comments will help to make the place better.

I really wanted to just hear the jazz. I did get some shrimp and grits and because, I'm from charleston and grew up there. Well we got Memphis beat. The food was okay but it wasn't anything to call home about. They add whole cherry tomatoes and cut okra. I don't think they put any cheese in it. It was kind of greese. But after my meeting I was hungry, so I ate it but it's nothing they can brag on. Like I said where I'm from Charleston, SC got them beat. But I like the jazz band!

Great food and atmosphere for dinner. We arrived right as a band was starting. There was a $10 cover charge per person, but there was no wait and we were seated right away. The ribs were delicious! We enjoyed the band as well (Divercity).
