The homemade Scotch Broth Soup was superb. Main meals and snacks. Locally sourced ingredients. Cakes brilliant as well.Service welcoming. Accessible. Accessible toilet. All on one level.
Massive car park. No Bluebadge but you can park very close.
You could bring a double decker bus. Lots of space and clearance.

Thank Ted B

We have been coming here for a long time now and the standard of food gets better and better. I hope you're never on a diet when you visit because the standard and taste of the on site baked cakes, scones and others is just fantastic.
Soup is always homemade and is simply excellent. If you'r having an open sandwich and it's on the menu, try the apricot mayonnaise.......out of this world.
Special mention must go to the staff without which the place would not be the same. Well done Avril and the girls. I wold most definitely recommend this to anybody whether it be a snack or lunch or something else....just go!!

This cafe is off the beaten track just south of St Boswells but is worth turning off the A68 to visit. Good soups and a limited choice of hot lunches. The welcome is warm and the service quick. We had soups which were excellent and followed with the Baked Ham and roasted veg from the specials board. Rounded off with Lemon Meringue and cream. Delicious. Good coffee too. Booking advised as they get very busy at lunch time.
