Having seen some photos of these we had thought that they were life size so had been looking for a huge statue. Eventually realise that they are in miniature, but nonetheless a powerful, poignant reminder of the dangers faced by those who earn a living from the sea.

We saw this small monument and the one at St Abbs. A sad but thoughtful memorial to those lost at sea in the storm....

Well worth a look if you are in eyemouth, great statue of women and children looking out to see. Quite poignant.
