My family and I had a lovely stay in this beautiful cottage. The interior is modern and clean and it is just such a little gem. The main spots for photo taking of the loch is just a 2-3mins drive away and one can easily walk or cycle (though it was raining and snowing while we were there). Will highly recommend this place if you are here with family or friends for a relaxing get away and lazing around to soak up the whole 'enid blyton' experience :)
« The cottage is amazing as it combines tradition and history with the contemporary comfort. A nice view of Loch Lomond at the front completed by a waterfall and river at the back. The area is very calm and relaxing. The attention to details is at its best . You know you are on holidays yet you feel at home. Jin is a wonderful person and really wants to make your stay memorable. Everything was above expectations. For sure we will come back. »
My dads partner and I booked this cottage for New Years Eve. I have to say it was beautiful, the owner was so friendly. The kitchen was well stocked, the house is beautifully decorated and kept. Everything we needed was there. The only thing to be aware of is the cottage has a internet TV so make sure you take a smart phone or iPad to connect. sometimes the internet could drop out but you would expect this due to location. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
We stayed in the North Cottage for a night and very much enjoyed our stay. The cottage is very tastefully decorated and furnished. And it’s set within the beautiful setting of Loch Lomond.
We stopped here as an in-between stop on a small Whisky Tour.
I think we may come back in the future, it is a beautiful cottage in a beautiful location.
Inside the cottage has all you need for a self contained holiday, fully equipped kitchen, comfy lounge, two bath rooms & two bedrooms recently modernized by the look of it.
Instructions were clear in the book and the owner offering help when ever we needed.
The whole cottage was very clean and even logs if needed for an open fire.
We decided to not eat in the cottage and walked to the nearest restaurant about 20 minutes away which was also a nice walk.
