Having stayed in 2 other properties owned by Nina and Greg we had a good idea of what to expect. We choose the wishing well due to its slightly more rural setting. The setting is stunning, making it that little bit more special. As requested a cot and high chair was provided as well as a basket of toys which was much appreciated as unfortunately the weather wasn’t great. We had the pleasure of seeing 2 roe deer wondering the estate. On our leaving day at least 4 inches of snow had fell over night, a special thanks to the groundsman who helped us get up the hill out of the estate, not sure we would have got out otherwise. Can’t wait to return next year.
This is the second time we have stayed at a property owned by Nina. The Craggantoul lodges / cottages are more expensive than other cottages around however they are worth every penny.
Absolutely immaculate, cosy, tranquil and date I say. . Perfect! Hot Tub is fantastic for relaxing and the views are fab!
Can’t wait to return to one of Nina’s properties again soon.
This place is just simply amazing, seriously heaven on earth. So peaceful and tranquil. It’s quite costly, but worth every penny.
This is truly a wonderful place to relax. Peaceful, scenic and a beautiful property. This was our second stay at Wishing Well and we will certainly be back. The serenity of the pool in the garden and the babbling brook flowing down to the Loch is amazing along with the wildlife that frequently visits. Stunning.
The Wishing Well is the nicest place I've ever had the pleasure of staying! My husband and I booked it around 8 months ago for our minimoon knowing we'd be desperate for a bit of rest and relaxation!
From the second we arrived we were like two kids excited for Christmas morning! We ran around the property gasping at various points of beauty, or at the view, at the pond, the hot tub, the beautiful furnishings etc etc! It was just stunning!
It has been so well thought out and designed with the guests in mind!
We found the property easily, it was situated in the perfect little place and wasn't far from some of Scotland's highlights so we've already discussed several times when we can head back!
Each night we put a few grapes on the back door step and a badger came right up to the door to eat them! There was a tawny owl and frogs in the pond too. Great place for a nature lover, I looked out of the window constantly!
Such a simple yet stunning place! We whole heartedly recommend and will most definitely visit again!
Thank you Wishing Well for having us!
