“Fantastic house and fantastic scenery”
Reviewed 8 January 2017 for a stay in December 2016

11 of us stayed in this house for a week from 30th December. We ranged in age from 22 to 54, and could not have asked for a more ideal house. Plenty of space , and in idyllic surroundings. The house itself was very warm, in fact too warm for some of us ladies of a 'certain' age!! (although our friends from Singapore, who were staying loved this!) It felt wrong to have the windows open, but certainly needed it when we were all in the Kitchen and dinning room, which for us, was the hub. Loch views are from the front bedrooms, the balcony and also from the Dinning room. There are plenty opportunities for photographs of spectacular scenery in and around Foyers as well as walks. The Craigdarroch Inn was a hit with the men (particularly a pint of Happy Chappy) and the Dores Inn was a welcome break from cooking. If you have a dog, beware that the garden is not fully enclosed, there is no gate, although there is a fence around most of the property. Sensor lightening would have been nice for the patio area. The main lightening in the house is a challenge, but the owners do recognise this in their welcome book. You are very central to lots of fab places to visit, we spent time visiting Fort Augustus, Nairn, Drumnadrochit, and Urquhart Castle. All in all a very relaxed time was had by us and we would all recommend a stay here.

“Exceeded our expectations”
Reviewed 7 November 2016 for a stay in November 2016

Our last visit to Loch Ness was nearly 10 years ago and we were so looking forward to returning. The house is simply stunning, beautifully decorated, spacious but warm and cosy too.Lovely views of the loch from the front upstairs bedrooms. And i would like to point out that Lorna the housekeeper went above and beyond to help out when our flight was delayed meaning a late arrival. My husband and i have just spent the weekend here and our grown up kids arrive tomorrow and i am so excited to see their reaction
One of the best rentals we have ever stayed in

“Gorgeous house with lots of space in a beautiful setting.”
Reviewed 24 October 2016 for a stay in October 2016

We were a family group of 8 adults, 1 toddler and a dog. This house has loads of space, the bedrooms are all of a great size and 4 of the 6 have ensuite facilities. It was lovely and clean when we arrived and there were some tasty scones provided for us. The snooker table provided much entertainment and was in great condition.
The area of Foyers was very nice and we liked the fact that there was a shop within walking distance (1.5mls away). The Falls of Foyers are worth a look and we also hired kayaks at lower Foyers to take out on the Loch. Fort Augustus is a lovely village too and we drove round to Urqhart Castle which was great.
Going out for dinner on our last night we chose the Dores Inn which has a lovely atmosphere and great food, I would recommend the venison. It is busy, so maybe not the quickest service, but well worth the wait.

What a fabulous setting!! Everything catered for with regards equipment!! Very clean & spacious property. The weather was fantastic which enabled many trips down to lower foyers to sun bathe and swim in the loch.

“Excellent for special family celebration”
Reviewed 8 August 2016 for a stay in July 2016

This was a great location for a family celebration. There was plenty of space for everyone with the opportunity for different groups to spend time in different parts of the house as well as spending time all together. Sue was really helpful with organization. Martin Krop catered on the first night for a special birthday meal which was excellent. He was very helpful with menu choices and very relaxed during the evening allowing us all to enjoy the celebration.
We went clay shooting which was excellent and even our dog came on the boat trip on the loch.
