I found Morag's Lodge to carry a very pleasant and welcoming atmosphere. The staff was incredibly friendly, polite, and kind. I requested an early check-in, and this was absolutely no problem for them at all. They were more than happy to accommodate it.

This is also one of the more affordable options if you're visiting Fort Augustus, and I can highly recommend it. A wonderful place to stay!

The only thing I could possibly complain about is the wifi, which was so terrible that it might as well not have been there in the first place. But, I think a lot of us can do with some time off-grid.

I really did enjoy my stay at Morag's Lodge.
It's near everything interesting in Fort Augustus, has clean and good facilities. The personel is very friendly and helpful, the beds are comfortable and it's nice and warm.
You can even get a good cooked dinner on site (which I did not use, but might, some other day).
There is a rather basic shop in the village and the kitchen is well equipped so it's no problem if you choose to cook your own meal.
I would surely visit again, and for a longer time.

Pleasant place to stay with relaxing public areas and good food available in the evening and at breakfast , plus self catering facilities in a pleasant location, convenient for cycle route 78 and for Loch Ness cruises as well as the Caledonian canal. Good value for money and good cyle storage
