“Excellent Location, Excellent Acomodation and a perfect part of Scotland”

From the arrival to the day we left I could not fault the location or facilities. The lodges are equipped with everything from a full kitchen, DVD player to an iron and ironing board. The lodge is comfortable, spacious and well furnished.

The location is perfect if you want to see the unique landscapes of Scotland from the scenery to the beauty of Loch Ness you could not find a more perfect location. The local village has at least three good places to eat which catered for children, all were friendly and welcoming with all the other essential facilities such as a co-op, cafe and take away if needed with small craft shops and an excellent information centre. The village also has free parking available.

The lodges are equipped to cater for all needs from a library of books, games and dvds for children to the availability of BBQs. Around the lodges there is plenty of space for children to play freely and safely.

From the lodges you have easy access to walks through the forest roads and tracks providing a great opportunity to explore.

To summarise an excellant location with excellant facilities to explore from.

“A great place to stay”
Reviewed 13 December 2013 for a stay in December 2013

This is a fantastic place to stay. Very clean, cosy and comfortable and got everything you need. The location is quite unique in that it is so tucked away from any roads with lovely views of the hills and yet not far from the beautiful Loch Ness and the amazing mountain scenery Glen Affric. The owners Vincent and Claudia live on site and are most welcoming and helpful. Nice to have some place where the dog is also made welcome.

“Relaxed, friendly and comfortable base, from which to see Highlands.”

The lodge is comfortable, well equipped and in great condition. We've stayed in 3 lodges and they're all good. Lochletter is a great place to stay, friendly and relaxed, with a lovely environment for humans and dogs! Good walks right on doorstep. The owners - Vincent, Claudia, Orrin and Rocky are great hosts.
The area is a superb centre for visiting Wester Ross, Skye, Lochaber, Cairngorms, Black Isle and the Moray coast., all around one hours driving.
Locally, Drumnadrochit has The Baking Birds {baker} and Fiddler's {Malt Whisky Bar and restaurant} - all the sustenance required for a good holiday ! Inverness very civilised for a city. {20 mins. drive}
We go to Lochletter every spring and autumn, and have a great holiday.
