Excellent budget option.

Short weekend stay for us, the hotel was local for where we wanted to be. Room was clean, bed comfortable enough, staff approachable.
Unbeatable value for what we paid.
Big car park helped us and easy to get in and out of the hotel itself after hours.

The room was comfortable. It was a nice surprise to find it had a bath. I paid extra for an upper floor room which was described as being quieter. It was! Breakfast was adequate.

I arrived tired after my drive and work in Glasgow.
Tina and Everyone in reception were freindly and accommodating to my needs.
They showed a great knowledge of travelodge and the hotels functions to answer all my questions with a friendly and professional manor. Tina and all were a credit to Travelodge.

We haven’t stayed in a Travelodge for over 12 years as we received bad service/quality and refused to stay in one again. We decided to try them again this year at the Braehead hotel given how close it was to the hockey game.
We stayed in a plus room and the room was spacious but basic. There wasn’t many places in the bedroom to put things and there are only USB-A ports next to the bed, no plug sockets so this doesn’t help if you have a USB-C type device! The bed was comfortable enough. No air con but managed to cool the room with the windows open. You have to ask at reception for a hairdryer which would have been nice had there been a sign to say this but not a major issue. The plug didn’t work in the bath either. All in all it was an OK stay, you get what you pay for.

    We booked a family room
This was located on the first floor
The hotel was right next door to a shopping centre so location is fantastic
We stayed 3 nights with grandchildren
The staff were lovely always chatty when we went past to go in or out
We never ate dinner at hotel but we had breakfast every morning it was great value especially when the kids get to eat free
    Wouldn't hesitate to return again

This was the first we stopped here on our way up to Aberfoyle, as it was bad weather it was a welcome break .
Good clean place with friendly and helpful staff.
Plenty of parking spaces and they have a cafe if you don't want to venture out .
We had a meal out there is a pub within walking distance.
The next day we did some shopping at the local mall I would say this travelodge is ideal ,for shopping, earing out and looking around as well as just a welcome one night stop over.
