It's in a great location but I recommend driving, walking or cycling the extra mile to Aberfeldy. All the drinks were either off or flat. NOT DOG FRIENDLY, we were asked to sit on a bench on the road.

We stopped here after visiting Menzies castle for drinks. From the roadside the pub looked appealing. Not impressed with the beer (appeared to be off),the cider was out of a can and the tonic with the gin was out of a large bottle and was flat. The inside of the pub was dark and dingy. We sat outside on the roadside as we had dogs. My advice would be to give this pub a miss, go further in to Aberfeldy!

Thank you to the team of the. Weem Hotel and Restaurant in Aberfeldy Scotland. I don’t know how you help our party that involved Scotsman, Jamaicans, Caymanians and Londoners.... strong combination

We could not make our mind up even for the time. But this team arranged a menu that all favored. The wine... spiced rum.... we had privacy and coziness.

The next night we stubbled on them for the groom party and again they met our needs and beds.

The team is so honest and humble. It’s a good feeling and not too many hotels have that traditional Scottish atmosphere.

Scotland is becoming more modern but Modern because people want the traditional Scotland we read in story books and movies.

Weem hotel is near the worlds best chocolatier and Dewars distillery

You have no reason to be board.

We were touring the area and called in for a hot drink, we were swiftly presented with a hot pot of excellent tea by John. This looks like an old coaching Inn type of place. The decor is more interesting than most modern places with some unique features.
We were made to feel welcome and John explained live music was a regular thing in the high season. We were in the depths of winter and it was bitter cold however we all throughly enjoyed our brief visit.

This is our second trip to the Weem Inn - we sought it out specifically as we'd had an interesting time the year before. This is not a standard place! No luxury or bells & whistles, just a very curious & interesting place. The staff are friendly & welcoming, the rooms are quite basic & the food is adequate. The fire in the bar area is cosy & a great place to spend a few hours. Aberfeldy is a short-ish walk away, but take a torch if you're walking this at night.
Not sure if I think this place is value for money, but very entertaining, strange & exactly the kind of place you want to find in this part of the world. If it changed 'for the better', it would probably lose its charm! I'd recommend staying here.
