Just come back from this hotel as part of a coach holiday with Alfa Travel.
The hotel room was adequate for our needs although the pillows were a little thin, which may have contributed to a few poor nights sleep. Bedroom units were a little dated and the shower taps were stiff having to turn the taps back and forward a few times to tease out the water flow. Evening meal was satisfactory although service was slow taking around 95mins to complete the sitting. The gammon steak not to my taste as it was pale with no evidence of browning. All main course option came with potatoes on the plate even if curry or chilli con carni was ordered. Starters and deserts were good. Breakfast was poor with warm tea and cold toast awaiting at the table and you had to ask for coffee. Cooked breakfast was barely cooked and did not look appetising and only small portions given. Service again was slow leading to a frustrating experience if you wanted something different such as scrambled eggs or more toast. Bar service was fine with entertainment on 2 nights with 2 slow singers playing to a nearly empty room.
