Fabulous Hotel with some of the best Staff I have come across over my years travelling. I was fortunate to hold my 70th Birthday party here and cannot praise Ian highly enough for his skill in organising this event , on the night Paul and the Girls were just fabulous at getting our meals out Quickly all hot and with generous portions. My guests were very impressed with the food and the Service , the quality was excellent and the Table Wines were very nice . I would recommend The Willowbank to anyone for any event you won’t be disappointed. Some of my friends stayed over and were very impressed with the rooms yes decor is retro but it’s very clean and tidy and a very good breakfast was had by all .

Very much in need of upgrade regarding the decor, but this place is the cleanest hotel I have had the pleasure to stay in, staff are fantastic, happy to help and happy by nature, breakfast is brilliant, and yes I most definitely would use it again.

We were guests at a celebration in the hotel and chose to stay over in a 1 double room at the front of the hotel.
The Tripadvisor reviews commenting on dated decor held true throughout the hotel and my first impression was negative. However I another way to see the decor is RETRO. Green avocado or peach sanitary- ware are hard to find.
Absolutely agree with the reviews applauding the superb standards of cleanliness. We have travelled extensively staying in award winning hotels that haven’t got the standards this hotel has.
Breakfast was uncomplicated well cooked and served quickly with a smile. Nice first thing of a morning.
All the staff worked their socks off to deliver fantastic customer care with a smile. Not to be taken for granted in this fast paced world.
Would we stay again . Yes 😀
