“Lovely cottage, but with a few minor problems”
Reviewed 28 August 2017 for a stay in August 2017

Location good with easy access to the shore and village amenities. We'd have really enjoyed using the garden and patio more if the weather had been kinder. We had expected that the bathroom and wet room would both have toilets, but there was only one, which was a slight difficulty with 4 senior citizens! Glad we were not a party of 6!
There were only 8 table knives, so we were short of those. The cooking equipment was of a good standard, but we would have appreciated a small pan and a smaller casserole. I suspect we cook more than the average guests!
But we had a good time and hope to go again.

Thank you for your feedback and apologies if there was any misunderstanding about the number of bathrooms. The two “bathrooms” are listed as “Family” and “Shower” in the TripAdvisor dropdown boxes so we assumed this would appear clearly on our listing. We have updated our description of the cottage to avoid confusion for future guests.

“Brilliant holiday home!”
Reviewed 4 July 2017 for a stay in April 2017

Spent Monday to Friday here. Every convenience with high chair and cot provided for my grand daughter. Who!e property fitted out to a high standard and is very convenient for anywhere on island. Wet room a bonus!! We were even provided with home baked bread on our first evening. Definitely hope to be back next year!

“Amazing cottage, amazing location, amazing people!”
Reviewed 10 June 2017 for a stay in June 2017

Came to Arran with 3 friends for a golfing trip and the house was perfect. The owners are two of the nicest people you will meet, so nice that we invited Mikey (one of the owners) to stay for a few beers when he was helping us set up the barbecue. The home made fresh bread was also still warm when we arrived. The cottage is more than big enough and extremely comfortable. We will 100% be returning if we decide to go back to the island.

“Superb holiday home”
Reviewed 8 June 2017 for a stay in June 2017

Thank you Sarah, your holiday cottage is wonderful. Clean, warm, comfortable. An easy 5 min walk to Whiting Bay and the beach. Everything we needed was there, and the still-warm homemade bread to welcome us on arrival was most appreciated. I wouldn't hesitate to return.
