Owner description: Spend an inspirational day here at Holme, start with a walk around our Beautiful Landscaped Gardens. See the Palm Garden, Wild Flower field, Pear Tunnel, Wedding Pavilion and many stunning boarders. Then enjoy The Orchard Cafe, which will be serving al fresco breakfast, lunch, cream teas and Holme made cakes, around the pond and gardens all day long. Visit The Holme Farm Shop, which celebrates all that is good about the fresh, local Purbeck produce, beers, ciders, meats, breads and chocolates. Then talk to our enthusiastic staff in the Nursery, who can provide you with everything you need to keep your garden looking stunning all year round.

Since they got rid of PYO, the grounds have been landscaped and are slowly being planted up to create interest for the visitors. There is a good plant centre and the Orchard Cafe is always busy regardless of time of day.

I visit here frequently and have watched it grow over the years. It is a small independent nursery with a relatively small plant selection. What has grown every year is the restaurant area and can be very busy and noisy. Some previous plant areas have been taken over by this and the large Koi pond. The house plant selection has shrunk to very little. There is also a farm shop with a lot of non farm products.
The continuing expanding garden area was a great idea for visitors to see the plants they could buy growing in flower beds but now they are charging £3 per head. This will put us off going round them again .
Food is OK and the staff are great but there can be a lot of 'welcome' dogs around as the owner's are often there too.

What a lovely garden centre - West Holme Farm. There is plenty for everyone. The restaurant has good food and can be eaten inside or outside on a lovely day. Plants, shrubs and trees to buy in abundance. The garden walk is wonderful lots of beautiful flowers and grass paths with seats to sit on to take in the picture that surrounds you.
Well worth a visit all year round.

A wonderful Garden Centre, well cared for plants, abundant with colour all year round. A lovely restaurant perfect for a light lunch or meal. The scones are also delicious. The patio overlooks the pond, which has additional seating. The gardens are beautiful, we have walked around them many times. Today we discovered a fee of £3 has been introduced per person to look around the ornamental gardens, so did not walk round as we would have done normally.
The Farm shop is well stocked with tasty treats, fruit & veg, also wines & fresh bread.
We would both recommend a visit even if not purchasing plants.

Great selection of gardening items. Also a lovely place to eat.

Especially on a warm day when you sit outside around a very delightful pond.

The is a very large allotment/growing area where depending on the season you can PYO and purchase items by weight.

There is a nice area just to walk around too.

They also have a lovely farm produce shop.
