“Very comfortable stay”
Reviewed 16 March 2015 for a stay in March 2015

A very nice cottage recently converted to a high standard. Ideal for two people. There is a pub in the village also a tea room, general store, and hair dresser nearby.
Sidmouth, Lyme Regis, Dorchester, Poole are all within 1 hours drive.

“Great cottage in an ideal location”
Reviewed 10 March 2015 for a stay in March 2015

This cottage has everything you need for a great holiday - excellent facilities in a lovely picturesque location close to the places you will want to visit -Lyme regis, Bridport, West Bay. With the new Symondsbury kitchen we also treated ourselves to a couple of breakfasts which were also lovely and obviously went on a number of walks round the stunning village. Highly recommended.

“Comfortable cosy retreat”
Reviewed 27 February 2015 for a stay in February 2015

Beautiful cottage, cosy but spacious and very useful welcome pack. Wonderful walks straight from front door. Convenient amenities such as village shop and pub but also close to Bridport which has wide variety of shops and a good market on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Cant wait to go back soon. Pity about having to park in the street especially as cottage opposite has more than ample parking for their needs.

“Fabulous holiday in a beautiful cottage and village”
Reviewed 3 November 2014 for a stay in October 2014

My husband and I visited Duck Street Cottage in October 2014 and enjoyed every moment of our stay. The cottage is finished to a high standard and is very comfortable. The surrounding area is beautiful and full of fabulous places to eat good food. The convenience of the Symonsbury Store and Symondsbury Kitchen was a real treat - a few minutes walk down the lane and you could pick up all your essentials plus pop in for cup of tea and some cake.

The team at Symondsbury Estate were so friendly and helpful both before and during our stay that we wouldn't hesitate to reccomend this holiday cottage to friends.

“If I could rate it with 10 stars I would.”
Reviewed 9 September 2014 for a stay in September 2014

This stunning cottage is equipped to a superb standard from the first class kitchen to the luxuriously appointed bedroom and bathroom. The inglenook fireplace houses a working wood burning fire and was well stocked with logs. Cutlery, glassware and crockery were all of a high quality. Perhaps most importantly of all everything and everywhere was absolutely spotlessly clean. The Symondsbury Kitchen is the jewel in the village with 'to die for' food and friendly and attentive staff. The whole of the surrounding countryside is stunning and accessible. It is a rare treat when Everything is better than its official blurb.
