A great location, 3 balconies, a stones throw away from the heart of the hip surfing town of woolacombe. Amazing views out to sea from the balconies. Rooms all very soacious with comfortable furnishings. Lick of paint needed here and there but generally in excellent condition. We stayed off season, march, so price was very reasonable £60pn, obviously much more expensive in other parts of the year - but u can't complain too much with that view and location!!
Well what a beautiful apartment, such lovely views and I would and have recommended this place and Sta already to family and friends, although it was a short break,it was wonderful, our stay was peaceful and had everything we needed, its great for a family or just as a couple.great value for money.we are booking again, and hope to become regular's here.thankyou very much for our stay.the views are amazing, people are friendly theres plenty to do.so again, thankyou.
Pros: No 10 Narracotts has stunning views; sitting out on the balcony (chairs were provided) taking in daybreak, sea views, and sunsets was truly breathtaking. The apartment itself had a fully equipped kitchen, everything needed from plenty of china to quality saucepans and cooking utensils to a cheese grater, plus a lovely added touch for those forgotten items such as extra virgin cooking oil, condiments, sauces, etc., there's also full size built in separate fridge and freezer, washing machine, even tea towels were provided. The accommodation throughout was presented well given it was a holiday home with plenty of space (even for 4 persons). Initial reservations regarding the hardness of the bed was quickly dispelled as every nights sleep was excellent with none of the usual aches in the morning; We literally felt refreshed n renewed and ready for the day ahead. There was plenty of storage, younger persons appeared to be well catered for right down to a highchair and a kite for them to fly on the sands.
Cons: One or two areas of the laminate flooring boards weren't butting up as they should which could have resulted in someone tripping up; the glass shower panel in the bathroom couldn't be moved safely back into position as the glass was literally scraping on the top of the bath so we left well alone; in bedroom 1 the en-suite door couldn't be closed due to ill fitting plus the sink was cracked; there was also a large crack on one of the wardrobe mirror fronts in bedroom 2. The car park bay was a disappointment as there was glass in parts of the allotted bay (it looked like a builders yard) and due to part of the bay 'missing' because of several steps leading down to a boarded up door making it less than a full length bay, it was totally inadequate for a medium to large car to be parked fully in its designated area. As an elusive green folder with a first point of contact telephone number couldn't be found, we telephoned the management company several times to report the damage and car parking issues, after several attempts and with no one answering we left a message asking for a return call, but no return call was received from them! 0/10 for customer support.
Verdict: Internally, due to the size, layout, comfort, décor, and beautiful views, No 10 Narracotts receives a 4/5. Externally, due to the disappointing parking and an extremely steep hill at the side of the property to gain access to parking and the main entrance; although we're extremely fit we found the steep access poor, so it's only 1/5.
Wow !!! Lovely 4 day break ! Fab apartment ! Clean, comfy beds and pet friendly ! Fantastic views from every room ! Can't wait to book our next break ! Highly recommend .
