This place is beautiful, Piers and Sue are on hand all the time if you need anything. Lovely to arrive to a little welcome basket and such a pretty, clean, secluded place. Everything we needed was there and the surrounding area is beautiful to visit too.

“Very relaxing holiday in beautiful surroundings”

We spent a week at the Barn and really enjoyed our stay. The barn is a beautifully converted building with all the mod cons that you need. Our stay was most comfortable and relaxing and we couldn't ask for a better location to explore the surrounding area with so many walks and amazing scenery. We really appreciated the welcome basket and enjoyed the Cotmore farm eggs for breakfast! We will definitely recommend the barn to friends and family and will return in the future to spend another holiday here. Thanks for a great holiday!

“Wonderful time - relaxing and peaceful”

We spent 8 relaxing nights at Cotmore Barn with our 2 young children (3 and 2). Piers and Sue were very welcoming and had thought of everything's its a fully equipped kitchen and lovely welcome basket on arrival. The cottage was cosy with the underfloor heating and log burner and the enclosed garden a real suntrap.

The kids loved being able to roam the farm and saying good night to the pigs, chickens, horses and sheep became an evening ritual.

All the places of my childhood holidays were in easy reach including Salcombe, Dartmouth, Blackpool Sands and Beesands, which has an excellent pub.

We definitely hope to return, thank you for a wonderful stay.

“Fantastic location, very friendly hosts and beautiful cottage - very impressed.”

My wife and I stayed with our 10 year old daughter and her friend. Piers greeted us and showed us round and he couldn't have been more welcoming. My daughter and her friend were ecstatic at being able to help clean out the animals and 'help' Sue who was most patient. We were really happy to stay here and the log fire being lit on arrival was a very nice touch. Very friendly hosts, beautiful area, loads to do including bracing February dips in the sea and river. We were very impressed with the cottage, very nice and great to come back to after some beautiful days walking nearby. We would love to come back again, thank you.

“Great location, excellent accommodation, warm welcome”

We arranged a last minute short break for ourselves and our three children to The Barn and were very pleased we did. It's a very well renovated accommodation in an ideal quiet location, within an easy drive of Dartmouth and Salcombe. We received a very warm welcome from the owner and felt relaxed and comfortable throughout our stay. The log burner made for very cosy evenings.

The children loved the easy access to the farm and animals, especially collecting the fresh eggs for breakfast.

We wish we could have stayed longer, but will return. We would highly recommend this location.
