Daisy Cottage at Northcote Manor Farm is a great place for a family holiday. Linda and Jim, the owners were very friendly and helpful - Linda lent us a beach chair as we'd forgotten our own. The cottage is well furnished and comfortable, and faces onto a small courtyard. It's great for small children because in holidays there are often friends to be made. The site includes a games room, small heated swimming pool, huge trampoline, and chickens - our children loved exploring the site, feeding the chickens and playing in the games room. It's roughly 15 minutes from Ilfracombe, and there are plenty of things to do.
We found that there is no Vodafone mobile signal at the property - but then Vodafone seem to have forgotten the whole of Devon. We bought a PAYG Tesco / O2 SIM which worked OK. There is internet / WIFI, but it's too weak to reach the cottages - you can get it in the courtyard. (This may be a blessing or a curse, of course)

We have had 3 lovely holidays staying here with our young children over the last 3 years. The facilities, including an indoor pool and games room, are great for the kids. Lots to do in the surrounding area, including beautiful beaches. Linda and Jim are fantastic hosts.
