Went on a 2 hour morning trip recently and it was brilliant. Emmet was an excellent guide, chilled and easy going. Would definitely recommend and will return the next time we are back in Mullaghmore! Great fun!

If you want to experience Mullaghmore from the water, you should look no further than SUP Dude. It's run by Emmet O'Doherty, a Bundoran local and former Irish SUP Champion.

He provides all you need: wetsuits, boards, paddles and buoyancy vests and starts all beginners sessions with a brief history of SUPing and safety instructions.
The SUP sessions start at the harbour and go usually along the beach or, weather permitting, along Mullaghmore's stunning headland. Emmet has an extensive knowledge of water wildlife which comes in handy when you're paddling by exposed rocks.
Needless to say, he is an extremely experienced waterman, gives advise and help (on and off shore), is very patient with SUP surfers of all age and fitness levels, is an Irish registered SUP school with the Irish Surf Association and has recently been mentioned in the Aer Lingus in-flight magazine "Cara".

I love the fact that it has not much to do with the regular surfing (the learning curve is extremely steep), it is not as physical, yet you get the physical benefits of it whilst enjoying the stunning landscape.

I have been going on paddles, SUP cruises and SUP surf sessions with Emmet for the last two years and brought a good few beginners along who all came back for more - it's ideal for families, couples, groups of friends or just to treat yourself.
