Great place to do paddle board surfing. Surfing spots are nearby. Wives are stunning. A place to see some of the wildlife (dolphins, seals). My weekends destination.
Walked around the coast on a hot, sunny day in July, spectacular scenery, Mullaghmore is a nice village and the beach is lovely.
Very pleasant to view from Pier Head Hotel where we stayed. Long stretch of sandy beach to walk on either at low or high tide! Great swimming and sand pipers running happily along the evening we arrived. Peaceful with views of both Donegal and Benbulben Mountains.
Very scenic and relaxing, great for walking and cycling. Too many camping vans and not enough planning control on house building on summit
visit the area on horseback (go for a ride a Island View Riding Stables) and it will be an unforgetable experience. We visited the beaches and the surroundings on horseback (trott or canter on the beach) - just beautiful. The back country impresses with its beautiful flowers and nice walking areas.
