We love Calabash style seafood. Sara J's has that plus a really nice location overlooking the marsh on the inland waterway. You have to wait longer to get an outside table on the porch, but the view from inside is still nice. The shrimp, scallops, and oysters were spot on. The crab cakes were the mass - produced breaded variety, so if you're looking for Maryland style crab cakes, be warned. The flounder were small pieces fried a little too hard, not bad but not as good as the shellfish. Good service and worth another trip.

A small journey from N Myrtle Beach but one well worth the time. Sara J's is a favorite of my wife's. She is a lifelong fan of Sara J's clam strips. I thoroughly enjoyed the Mahi Mahi while my daughter favors their Ribeye steak. Fast, friendly service. Always a treat.

Great location over looking part of the Inlet. Sara J's has been a classic eatery in this area. The Scallops & Shrimp, Crab Cakes and Crab Soup - all very good this evening. The service and view were excellent.

That was the freshest seafood cooked three different ways Blackened, Fried and Broiled. Huge shrimp cocktails and grouper fingers with several homemade sauces were outstanding, excellent sides like cheesy grits peppered sauteed string beans baked potatos and rice pilaf. Steaks were perfect.
atmosphere and staff excellent. stiff drinks. Brunch is outrageous on sundays. cant wait to go back.

The raw oysters were large, plump and juicy! The fried oysters were under fried and mushy.Salads are great! The Anglers Seafood Casserole was a big disappointment. Perhaps 3 small shrimp and nothing else found.Menue said shrimp, crabmeat & scallops.Server was very attentive and ask when I got it if it was ok.I had just started and was hoping the promised items would be found! Halfway through I realized it would not. I complained then and was given a free desert. That was nice but at those prices it should have been removed from Bill! Pricey items but it seems all of the area is overpriced.Great service and atmosphere! I would try again if in area.I am giving a 4. Really is a 4- or a 3+
