We stopped in for an appetizer on Friday around 2 PM. We sat at the bar, which we often do at restaurants. We like to chat with other people at the bar and also to the bartender. Katy, our bartender was so nice. We chatted about New Orleans, as she wants to go, and we have been there.. She was so friendly and was very attentive, which means alot to me. This was our first time in this Fatz. The bar area is really nice and clean and they are not in demand of tv's. They have quite a few! We got a basket of biscuits. They are very good but the poppy seeds on top can get in between your teeth! They were served very warm. We ordered The Southern Sampler. It came with calabash chicken, skillet pimento cheese dip with garlic bread, calabash pickle skewers, with housemade kettle chips, and dill ranch and Fatz sauce for dipping. I did not care for the pickles but everything else was delicious!! The pimento cheese dip is served in a tiny cast iron skillet...so cute! We will definitely return and I recommend going! Thumbs up to Katy for fantastic service!
