I’ve been staying at this location for 20 years. Always my go to place. This last stay disappointed. The carpet in the room had huge stains. The shower had built up gunk. I am not a fan of the new dispensers for shampoo, conditioner, and body soap. I see this as a safety and health issue. There was trash under the AC unit.

I have directed these unsatisfactory issues to our housekeeping department for correction action. I am sorry to hear that you are disappointed with our updated soap dispensaries in the bathroom. Nice clean and updated hotel. Friendly staff. Walking distance to many restaurants. Good size rooms that are quiet. Breakfast is standard for Hampton hotels. 24 / 7 coffee and tea bar is a nice touch.

Second time staying here, and both times were great. Our experience this time could have been costly and nasty, but thanks to Keisha, Jeremee, and ET (so?), this time was also fantastic.

Upon the end of a 2-day road trip with a child who could only talk about the pool when we got to the hotel, we found upon arrival that the pool was closed and would be for the duration of our 4-day-stay (due to circumstances beyond the hotel's control....but closed nonetheless.). I decided I'd "gird my loins" and prepare for a confrontation on cancelling the rest of my stay, as a stay that long with a child and no pool would be unbearable. The staff was accomodating, understanding, and friendly! Such a wonderful encounter in these times!

The hotel, on both visits, was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. Had it been just me staying, I wouldn't have left. Richard, who was at the desk at check-in was also friendly and helpful.

I will definitely stay at the Hampton when I'm in the area again and also look for a Hampton when traveling to other venues. Thanks for turning a difficult situation into a positive one!

Room tip: Stay here! But always call ANY hotel if there's an amenity you're particularly interested in, as thingschange.

Having stayed at this hotel many times over many years, this was by far the best. The hotel room and breakfast area were much improved over years gone by. Front desk service was friendly and efficient. Top notch experience.

Anytime Jeramee was working the front desk he was absolutely amazing and helpful on multiple occasions. His customer service skills are EXCELLENT! There were a few days we worked in the lobby area and he took it upon himself to bring us bottles of water and checked on us to see if we needed anything. I stayed at this hotel for 2 separate 2 week sessions and his customer service was superb throughout my entire stay.

I have stayed at the Hampton in Greenwood, SC twice in the month of April. The first time was ok and the 2nd was a slight problem with the hot water and a "musty/old" scent but other than that it was nice. The highlight of BOTH stays was the EXCEPTIONAL customer service provided by the MOD Jeremee. His service alone is enough to make me come back.
