Stayed 1 night. Room was clean and comfortable. It was pleasantly roomy. Provide nice essentials such as microwave, refrigerator, coffee pot with cups, coffee and tea. There was an iron, television, hairdryer, and toiletries (shampoo, makeup remover pads, conditioner and lotion). I did not pay attention if there was a pool or not. Weather was cold and rainy and I only stayed 1 night. Hope I covered everything for your consideration. It was a nice experience.

This hotel is not as bad as some of the very negative reviews would have you believe, nor is it a great property as the five-star reviewers claim. The rooms are dated and rather poorly lighted, but have all the usual features of the best Comfort Suites. The service is good, breakfast just fine, and bedding certainly adequate. In short, if you are looking for a decent room while driving on I-26 this would not be a bad choice. Just don't expect great.

I had to move from another hotel that was booked up to this hotel, and what a disappointment. The hotel is definitely not worth $142 I paid for the night- more like a $75 night hotel. The outside of the hotel is shabby. The lobby is dingy, and the hallways were dark and felt like something out of “The Shining”. They allowed me to check in early and gave me an antiquated room key, not an updated card key system like most hotels . The bathroom in the room had dim lighting, cracked tile, uneven paint and dirt in the corners. The shower also had cracked tile and needed a good cleaning. And the couch looked like it needed to be thrown in a dumpster. The peephole in the door had tissue stuck in it- probably from a prior guest.
The breakfast was powdered eggs that were laying in a puddle of liquid and sausage patties. The one plus was the coffee was good, and you could make your own waffles. The only positive is that I didn’t see any bugs or I would’ve been out of there. Thank God it was for only one night.

Stay away. The hotel is not very good. I’m a diamond with Choice and this is easily the worst one in the line, it’s worse than any other Choice hotel including the low end quality suites.. Not clean, not finished, no hot water in the whole hotel. Room keys didn’t work so they gave us the master to get in. That’s not very safe. Staff wasn’t really helpful. The response to no hot water was “no one else has called about it.”

We stayed here traveling home from Charleston. Big mistake! Our room smelled like bleach. We had a suite. The couch had stains. There were lights flashing everywhere in the hallway like they were getting ready to go out. I thought the place was in the middle of a remodel, but I was told no! Then we saw a 3 inch cockroach!!! I am not kidding!! We moved to another room. Wound up sleepung very little and left early. I asked a staff member if they knew they had roaches. They said they had just sprayed, but for some reason they keep on coming!!! Totally disgusting!! This hotel was not cheap either!!! $179 with tax...for a Saturday night. Please update this hotel or you are going to go out of business. No one should have to stay in this place. The flashing lights can cause people to have seizures and the smells can make people sick like the ones coming from the fountain at the elevator.
